The train departs from Melbourne Central Station and arrives at Sydney Central Station. From Sydney Central Station, you can take a train, bus, taxi, or light rail to Marco Polo Sydney Hotel.

Melbourne to Marco Polo Sydney Hotel by car:

• The Hume Highway: This is the most direct route and takes about 9 hours and 30 minutes. Especially, the highway is well-maintained and there is plenty of signage, so it is easy to follow.
• The Princes Highway: This route is slightly longer, but it is more scenic. Moreover, the highway passes through some beautiful countryside and there are a few interesting places to stop along the way, such as the Murray River and the Yarra Valley.

Direction from Regional NSW

From Sydney CBD: Drive 6.5 kilometers on George Street, then continue driving Parramatta Road, and go under a railway bridge. Then, 200 meters on the left-hand side, before the corner of Sloane Street and 42-44 Parramatta Road, is Marco Polo Sydney.

From Sydney Olympic Park:

Hop onto Homebush Bay, after 5.5 km, merge onto Great Western Highway/Parramatta Road. Turn right onto Hume Highway and head towards Ashfield. After the Ashfield shopping center, look out for Red Rooster on the left and then turn right just before the lights on Parramatta Road into Kensington Road (except during morning peak hours).Then, turn left at the T intersection into Dover Street, then left again onto Parramatta Road. Marco Polo Motor Inn Sydney is on the left just before the next set of lights.

From Parramatta:

Hop on the Greater Western Highway, turn left onto Burnett Street. Merge onto Western Motorway, then after 8 km merge onto Great Western Highway/Parramatta Road. Turn right onto Hume Highway, towards Ashfield Shopping Centre. Take the first turn left into Kensington Road. Through the first roundabout to the next street on the left which is Dover Street (T intersection). Turn Left at the T intersection into Dover Street, then left again onto Parramatta Road. Marco Polo Motor Inn Sydney is on the left just before the next set of lights.

From Liverpool:

Hop on the Hume Highway towards the Ashfield. After the Ashfield shopping center, look out for Red Rooster on the left and then turn right just before the lights on Parramatta Road into Kensington Road (except during morning peak hours).
