Getting to the fireworks and back
Summer Hill station is a four-minute walk from the hotel. Trains run direct to Central, Town Hall, Wynyard and Circular Quay, so you can reach the harbour vantage points, Darling Harbour and the city parties without a car. On New Year's Eve, Transport for NSW runs extra trains through the night, so getting home after the midnight fireworks is straightforward.
Leave your car in our secured undercover car park for the whole night. City parking is closed or restricted around the harbour on 31 December, and road closures start in the afternoon, so the train is the way everyone goes.
Back late? Reception is open all night
Reception is staffed 24 hours a day, every day, including New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out is 10 am. If you plan to arrive late on 31 December, let us know and we will have your key ready. Rooms have keyless access, so coming and going at 2 am is no trouble.
