Getting to the venues on competition days
Sydney Olympic Park is about 8 km from the motel, around 15 to 20 minutes by car, so you can drive to an early warm-up and come back for a rest between sessions. By train, walk 400 m to Summer Hill station, ride to Lidcombe and change for Olympic Park station.
The Athletic Centre and the Aquatic Centre are both in the Olympic Park precinct, so the same short trip works for athletics, swimming and water polo meets.

Between competition days, or when you're here to watch, the same location works for professional sport across Sydney. Accor Stadium and Qudos Bank Arena are in Sydney Olympic Park, and trains from Summer Hill reach Central in about 15 minutes, where the light rail runs to Allianz Stadium and the SCG at Moore Park.
