City2Surf is the world's largest fun run: about 90,000 people take on the 14 km from Hyde Park in the city to Bondi Beach, and the whole of Sydney comes out to cheer. Getting to Hyde Park and back from Bondi
Summer Hill station is a 400-metre walk from reception, and trains run direct to the city, with Museum and St James stations right beside Hyde Park. Extra services run on race morning, and roads around the course are closed, so the car stays parked free at the motel.
From the Bondi finish, event buses and regular services run to Bondi Junction station, where trains connect back to the city and on towards Summer Hill. A hot shower in your own ensuite room is waiting at the end.
